Ok, so, some friends and I went to go see Julie and Julia on the $5 club last night. First of all, I must say, it was a step above The Time Travelers wife, as we were spared the constant nudity and creepiness of an older man falling in love with a little girl. However, it was still a bit strange.
After 2.5 hours of watching an incredibly tall Meryl Streep speak in a harsh male voice with an awful french accent and Amy McAdams with a boys haircut and an obsession with another woman (Julia Child) and butter......I was spent!
And the end of the night I learned one thing..........There might be a reason a movie is on the $5 Club!
